Description
Silicone teats designed to make breastfeeding easier when the baby has difficulty latching on, or when the nipples are flat, inverted, sore or cracked. The Contact design features a cut-out area that encourages direct contact between the baby’s nose and the mother’s skin during feeding. The size S version measures 16 mm and is made from thin, soft, transparent and odourless silicone. The set includes two nipple shields and a case for transport and storage.
They make it easier to continue breastfeeding when latching on is difficult or painful, by providing a surface that the baby can grip more easily. The 16 mm size is suitable for smaller nipples, whilst the cut-out design preserves skin-to-skin contact between mother and baby.
Wash your hands, position the nipple shield so that it is centred over the nipple, and check that the baby is latching on comfortably.
Whilst breastfeeding, only when necessary and preferably under supervision.
Store in a clean, dry place away from direct heat. Ensure items are washed and dried before storing.
